I couldn't wait to get home to jot this down.... today I was at an out reach at a park in my town.... I had a great time ... got a sunburn.... listen...how many of you know that God is constantly revealing Himself to us in many ways..... I mean besides His Word...There is the Works of His Hands... The beauty of His Creation......I mean ...He is an intentional God...Amen? He is overflowing with a purpose, infusing meaning into everything around us.... The thing is "we" need to open "the eyes of our hearts" ...Amen? here is an example of what I am talking about....today.... I am sitting with Pastor Darlene.... And a wasp invades the space of several ladies dancing to the praise and worship music..... well they do what comes natural to them... and begin to swat at it..... well it kinda fell to the ground, in the process I noticed it dropped something, when I looked closer, it was a little grasshopper, well that wasp was persistent, it circled around, came back trough the crowd of ladies who once again tried to swat it away, flew down and picked up the dead grasshopper, and flew off to enjoy it's dinner...... I turned to Pastor Darlene.... I said... there is a story there.....the story is .... "PERSISTENCE" .. If we were as persistent at prayer, witnessing, loving our neighbor... enemy, ourselves.... if we were more persistent at reading our Word, Trying to be a better Christian, as this wasp was at getting it's dinner well just think about what a difference we could make.....the key is persistence....Amen? We need to "open our eyes" and be "persistent" .....there are so many scriptures I could quote today but I chose this one I hope you are blessed it....
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

Can you believe that God has been making arrangements for your part in His plan, long before you were even born..... I am so grateful that He is never unprepared, that our past does not surprise Him, that our present does not worry Him, and that our future in never a mystery to Him....Amen? Not a one of us is a second class laborer in His harvest. It doesn't matter if you are tall or short, fat or skinny, plain or a beauty queen.....you are precious to Him. He is the Almighty and we are His beloved children...... and we are all part of the great workings of His eternal purposes.....
I just love to sit back and think about that.....it puts me in so much awe...... to think that God ......thinks about me.... and you!

I have discovered... that even in the most raging waters of life... the most ruffest of storms..... that our Lord's Hand will guide us and will hold us fast.... Amen? Even in our darkest moments.....the Lord is lighting our path. When we start to think we are all alone.... He is right there holding us close to his heart....Amen?
But still we often wonder " Do you know what You are doing?"..... Yes, He does... We can be sure of it. God speaks to us often and slay .... "Let me worry about that?" So may times we so caught up in our circumstances..... we just cannot here his voice. Sometimes we literally have to "Be still and know that He is God" this requires ....Being quiet.....or like I heard last night... "just shut up and MARCH"........Amen?
Psalm 2:12
Blessed are all who put their trust in Him

Isn't it amazing how pain & pressure & problems can so totally preocupy our attentions... that at best they completely make us ...well "self centered"... I mean the mere suggestion of helping someone else....a person in need would be responded to with a dirty look and a "I couldn't possibly" or " I don't have time".. or " you don't know what I am going through"....Well, like myself, you may need to be reminded from time to time that serving Jesus by serving others when it is not convient to do so.... is one secret to overcoming the pain & pressure in our own lives ...Amen?
